Match information

For everybody’s comfort we have clear rules for media that will be working at Olympia, therefore we ask you to read through below following information and also that we like to point out that we work to have a good relation and a good cooperation with all media representatives with a mutual respect for each others roles.

Facilities

  • Press room: to be found at second floor
  • Press stand: can be reached through the press room
  • Photographers working space: red marked area behind the goals
  • Mixed zone: to be found at entrance floor and is the area where Flash interviews are done

Press room:

To all who have accredited according to existing rules is assigned a given place (valid for writing press see ticket) at the press stand. Exit to reach the press stand is through the press room on second floor. We ask you to use the assigned place during the match. In the pause coffee and bun is served in the press room inside the press stand. After the match it is possible to remain and work at the second floor up to 90 minutes after the final whistle. Our media hosts Jan-Åke Persson and Sven Klevtorp is available for you in the press room.

To be able to move freely at Olympias press space is required to always wear the assigned access badge visible!

Journalists:

The press stand is equipped with worktable and socket. There are also places with telephone jack available, but they must be applied for in advance. The press stand and the press room is installed with wireless network which is uncoded during match day. The network is called "PRESS".

Before you leave Olympia we ask you to return the access cards. This is done by leaving the card to the press host, media assistant or alternatively it is OK to leave the card in the letter box at the way out by the press entrance.

Photographers:

All working photographers shall wear a photo vest and access badge, (Press photographer wear green vest and TV- photographer wear orange vest) this is collected in the free ticket hatch on the western stand. The vest shall be worn during the whole match.

Outside the western stand there is a tent for photographers where it is possible to work with taken pictures. The tent has installed wireless network. The network is uncoded during match and called "PHOTO".

We have special places of work around the ground for photographers. This workspace is between the advertising bands which is placed on the south and north stand. However photographers are not allowed to block the advertising or attend the grass. Within the given workspace there is free placing.

Press conference:

The press conference will be held in the press room (second floor), about 15 minutes after the match ends. Same area where you had coffee in the pause. Here will as usual both trainers from each team attend.

All players in the home team will pass the mixed zone after the press conference as soon as the players have taken a shower and changed.

Interviews:

Players and trainers are available for TV- interviews ~ 90 to 75 minutes before kickoff and to some extent during the pause.

We do not permit media in HIF: s changing-room, neither at match days nor at ordinary training days. However the players will be available for some match related questions after the press conference in the mixed zone/flash zone.

TV-/ Radio Interviews

TV- broadcasting company has always priority on interview in the flash zone. After that in the following order:

1. Complete cover broadcast of the match

2. Remaining news covering TV- companies

3. Radio sports

4. Internet editorial staff (Web TV)

N.B.!! All interviews shall be done with the sponsor wall in the background.

Remaining info

After the match it is possible to remain at Olympia and work for up to 90 minutes. We have our own wireless network, both for photographers and journalists. The networks are called PHOTO alt. PRESS. PRESS is available at second floor and PHOTO at ground level. There is also possible to use cable if the computer doesn’t have wireless connection, but this must be applied for in advance.

Press officer Frederik Ericsson and media assistant Annette Bergendorf assists with correct service and answer also your inquiries.
